Does it cost anything to be a participating member?
There are no initial members fees as this is a Gold Key Marketing initiative and the time required to develop and implement the initiative is donated for free in the interests of being a business for good.
Gold Key Marketing has the mission: To lead the way in creating sustainable business success stories. We strive to build value for brands with a conscience to do more good, creating a better future for communities & the environment.
Future membership opportunities will become available overtime which may attract a small cost for business who chose to partcipate. These will include the ability to use Good Karma Bus branding and leverage additional promotional opportunities for your business.

Join as a FREE Participating Member of the Good Karma Bus, numbers are limited due to the volunteer time capacity of the initiative founder and administrator- Rebecca (Gold Key Marketing). Email rebecca@goldkeymarketing.com.au if you’d like to discuss joining as a participating member. All members will need to meet the criteria ongoing to stay as a participating member and receive the benefits.
What are the requirements of a Participating Member?

Businesses need to agree to deliver positive impacts at future intervals (ideally at least once a month) in the community through their operations. The positive impacts will be discussed and agreed upon with Rebecca to ensure they meet the essence of the Good Karma Bus Community.

Businesses need to operate with integrity and do no harm to people or the environment.

Businesses will need to report back the positive impacts delivered on a monthly basis.

Businesses will not use the Good Karma Bus branding without permission of Rebecca Smith (Gold Key Marketing)

Businesses will act respectfully towards the Good Karma Bus Community at all times.

In the fight against child sexual abuse Gold Key Marketing is offering Bravehearts Book Packs about Personal Safety (worth $50 each) to Childcare Centres and Counselling Services in Port Stephens.

The fabulous Jenn from Laundry-We Can do That (Nelson Bay), is doing free laundry for women in Tomaree Breast Cancer Support Group recovering from surgery.

Example from Melbourne- The Sustainable Coffee Company donates $4 to OzHarvest for every kg of coffee sold. This amount enables OzHarvest to collect and provide eight meals to people in need of food relief.
