Here's a paradox worth sitting with. The people whose jobs are most exposed to AI are the least likely to be using it, and that group is disproportionately women. Research suggests women are nearly three times more likely to be in roles generative AI can easily perform (Stanford Social Innovation Review, 2025), and the International Labour Organization confirms female-dominated occupations are almost twice as exposed (2026). Yet in Australian workplaces, only 40% of women use AI compared to 61% of men, and just 43% of women trust it versus 70% of men. Thus exposing an AI confidence gap for women in Australia. Before you read that as bad news, here's the part that matters most: this is not a capability gap. When women are given access and support, they use AI just as effectively. It's a confidence and access gap. And unlike ability, confidence and access are things we can absolutely build. Ready to start? AI Pocket Rocket🚀 is where the AI confidence gap for Women is eliminated. We are launching off in a couple of weeks so join the waitlist and be the first to hear about it. 👇🏼 |
